Fahad al-Shehri

Fahad Al-Shehri is an experienced professional in the field of renewable energy and engineering, currently serving as General Manager of Renewable Energy Policy and Head of Projects Planning & Grid Integration at the Ministry of Energy in Saudi Arabia since June 2019. With a strong background in planning and project execution for the National Renewable Energy Program, Fahad has also held significant roles, including Renewable & Nuclear Energy Planning Division Head at the Saudi Electricity Company and Consultant at the Renewable Energy Project Development Office within the Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources. Prior experience includes management of generation planning and engineering for renewable energy systems, as well as expertise in FACTS and HVDC projects. Fahad holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals and is furthering education through executive programs at London Business School and IMD.
