Wahid Hammami

Wahid Hammami is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the energy sector. Since October 2019, Wahid has served as IT Advisor and CIO at the Ministry of Energy, contributing to IT security and infrastructure management. Prior to this, Wahid worked for Saudi Aramco from 1986 to December 2019, where the role included MOPM IT Manager/CIO for the Ministry of Petroleum in Riyadh. Wahid's career also included a brief period at Microsoft Corporation in 2003-2004, focusing on branch office deployment. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, obtained from 1980 to 1985, and a high school diploma from Riyadh School, completed from 1976 to 1979.
