Division Manager Of Industrial Wastewater & Contaminated Soils And Fuels at Ministry of Environmental Protection

Avi Haim is an experienced professional in environmental management, currently serving as the Division Manager of Industrial Wastewater & Contaminated Soils and Fuels at the Ministry of Environmental Protection since July 2014. In this role, Avi focuses on protecting pipelines and municipal wastewater treatment plants from untreated discharges from industrial facilities. Prior to this position, Avi was the Manager of the Soil & Groundwater Department at Ludan Environmental Technology Ltd from 2006 to June 2014, where responsibilities included conducting Phase I and II Environmental Assessments, designing soil and groundwater sampling strategies, and executing investigations and remediation for contaminated sites. Avi holds a Master of Science degree in Soil and Groundwater Chemistry from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, completed in 2004.
