Yosi Shavit has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of cyber and information security. Yosi founded and currently serves as the CEO at InduSec - Cyber, Environment, Emergency since May 2019. Prior to that, they worked at the Israeli Ministry of Environmental Protection as the Head of ICS Cyber Security Department, where they had more than 25 years of experience in the field. Yosi is also a lecturer for cyber and information security at Achva Academic College in Israel. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Cyber Security Expert at Elad Software Systems and as a Security Information & Cyber Specialist at the Israeli Ministry of Education. Yosi holds multiple certifications, including MBA, CISO, CISM, CDPSE, CC, MCSE, MCT, and CNE.
Yosi Shavit holds a Bachelor of Science (Bsc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering, obtained from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in 1984. In 2009, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Management from The Open University of Israel.
