Environmental Engineer at Ministry of Environmental Protection

Noam Fonia is an experienced Environmental Engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, obtained in 2013. Currently serving at the Ministry of Environmental Protection since August 2017, Noam manages the national program for contaminated soil remediation. Prior experience includes a role at Ecolog from January 2014 to August 2017, where Noam supervised and consulted on the Kishon River Sediment Remediation project, focusing on bio-remediation and environmental monitoring. Additionally, Noam worked as a research assistant at Technion, contributing to studies on pharmaceutical residues in wastewater and water quality treatments, as well as providing private tutoring in water chemistry and system analyses for international civil engineering students.
