Shiri Bachrach

Shiri Bachrach currently serves as the Head of the Industries Supervision Department and the Head of the Industries & Licensing Unit at the Ministry of Environmental Protection, overseeing more than 50 employees across six district offices and leading digital transformation initiatives to enhance environmental regulation and inspection processes. With a strong background in energy and climate change, Shiri has managed national plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and chaired significant committees focused on environmental impact reporting. Prior experience includes roles in training management at B.R.D College, project management at Citypulse Ltd., and a considerable tenure at Intel Corporation. Shiri holds an MBA in Business Administration and a B.Sc. in Physics and Biology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, along with military experience as a medic in the Israeli Air Force.
