Achilleas Tzimas

Achilleas Tzimas has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Achilleas started their career as a Tax Officer at the Ministry of Finance, Hellenic Republic in March 2004 and later worked as an Economist - Financial Expert. Achilleas then served as the Head of Department and Deputy Director before assuming their most recent role as the Head of Deputy Minister's Office Responsible for the Financial System, which they currently hold.

In addition, Achilleas Tzimas also worked at the European Investment Bank as an Alternate Member of the Board of Directors from April 2013 to June 2018. Achilleas also held a similar position at the European Investment Fund from April 2014 to April 2016.

Prior to their work in finance and economics, Achilleas Tzimas gained valuable experience as the Treasury and Credit Control Manager at Kraft Foods, where they worked from September 1997 to March 2004.

Achilleas Tzimas obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Athens University of Economics and Business in the period of 1989-1994. Following that, they pursued an MBA in International Business from the University of Bristol from 1996 to 1998.
