Hedayatullah Jalal has worked as the Chief - International Tax at the Ministry of Finance, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan since July 2021. Prior to this, they served as an Administration & Finance Specialist at WEE-NPP - World Bank Funded Project under the Ministry of Industry and Commerce from March 2019 to March 2021. Hedayatullah also worked as a Finance Officer at Erasmus + Project, PROMIG - Tabesh University from February 2018 to February 2019.

- Additionally, from 2014 to 2018, they furthered their education by earning a Bachelor's degree in Economics (Business Administration & Management) from Tabesh University.
