Lukwiya Okot is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and financial management. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant at the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development since October 2019, Lukwiya's previous roles include Financial Attaché at both the Uganda Embassy in Beijing and the Uganda High Commission, as well as an Accountant position at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Additionally, Lukwiya's career began as a Research/Audit Assistant within the same ministry. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Information Technology with a focus on Data Engineering from ISBAT University, an MBA from Strathmore Business School, and an ACCA certification from Management and Accountancy Training College, complemented by a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Makerere University.
