Anneleen Hulshof

Anneleen Hulshof is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in international relations and project management. Currently serving as the First Secretary at the Embassy of the Netherlands in Iraq since February 2020, Anneleen has also held various significant positions, including Second Secretary at the Embassy of the Netherlands in Afghanistan and Policy Officer for Food and Nutrition Security at the UN Food Systems Summit. Prior to this, Anneleen worked with the Solidaridad Network as a Project Management Officer focused on climate-smart palm oil initiatives across multiple countries and begun as a consultant for ecological monitoring. A background in research and education includes serving as a research technician for various academic projects and teaching debating and public speaking at the University of Groningen. Anneleen holds a Post-master in Advanced Master International Development from Radboud University and a Master of Science in Biology from the University of Groningen.
