Dineke Vrolijk

Dineke Vrolijk currently serves as the Second Secretary for Development Cooperation at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Mali, focusing on youth employment, private sector development, and humanitarian affairs since April 2021. Previously, Dineke held the position of Policy Officer for Italy and the Holy See and completed diplomatic training in 2021. Other roles include Customer Agent for Social Support & Long-Term Care Acts, Human Rights Intern at the International Criminal Court, and Conference Associate with Africa Legal Aid. Dineke began a career in social work and emergency response before pursuing academic credentials, earning a Master of Science in Political Science with a focus on nationalism, ethnic conflict, and development, along with a Bachelor in International Studies specializing in Sub-Sahara Africa from Leiden University.
