Fleur Verbiest

Fleur Verbiest has extensive experience in international relations and diplomacy, currently serving as the First Embassy Secretary for Climate and Energy at the NL Embassy to the USA since August 2016. Previous roles include Deputy Counsellor in the Political and Security team at the NL Permanent Representation to the EU, Policy Officer for the World Bank Group, and Public Diplomacy Advisor. Fleur Verbiest began earlier tenure at the Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken as a Policy Officer focused on Peace Operations. Educational qualifications include an Executive Master in International Relations from Syracuse University's Maxwell School, an MA in International Peace and Security from King's College London, and an Honours BA in Social Science from University College Utrecht, among other prestigious academic pursuits.
