Mireille Hector

Mireille Hector has extensive experience in international law and humanitarian efforts, with a notable tenure at the Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken from March 2008 to September 2017, serving as Deputy Legal Adviser and Deputy Head of the International Law Division. Prior to this, Mireille held leadership roles at the Netherlands Red Cross, including Head of the International Humanitarian Law Division, and worked with Human Rights First as Program Coordinator for the United Nations Program. The early career includes a position as Human Rights Officer at the International Service for Human Rights. Mireille's educational background includes an Advanced LL.M (cum laude) in Public International Law from Leiden University and a J.D. in Dutch Law with a specialization in International Law from Maastricht University.
