Kasper Thams Olsen

Kasper Thams Olsen is an experienced professional in the fields of migration, peace, and stabilization, currently serving as Deputy Director at Udenrigsministeriet since August 2024. Previous roles include Head of Department at Forsvarsministeriet, Director and Deputy Director positions at Udenrigsministeriet, and a Political Advisor at the European External Action Service. Kasper has extensive experience in Middle Eastern and North African issues, having held several advisory and leadership roles within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark and DANIDA. Academic qualifications include an Executive Education program at Harvard University and degrees in Political Science and Human Rights from Københavns Universitet and The London School of Economics and Political Science, respectively.
