Simon Fasterkjær Kjeldsen

Simon Fasterkjær Kjeldsen serves as the Sanctions Coordinator and team lead at the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs since February 2018, focusing on economic security and sanctions. Prior experience includes roles as a Deputy Head of Mission and Deputy Head of the Sanctions Coordinator in Public Law, along with legal advisement in various capacities within the Ministry. Simon has also contributed as a writer for Karnov Group on EU sanctions and held teaching positions at the University of Copenhagen in International Diplomatic Law and EU Law. Previous positions encompass assistant attorney at Kromann Reumert and participation in compliance and CSR initiatives at Gorrissen Federspiel. Simon possesses a Master's degree in Law from the University of Copenhagen, supplemented by specialized courses in European policy-making and private international law from prestigious institutions.
