Hasan Hasanli

Hasan Hasanli is an experienced diplomat currently serving as the First Secretary of the Permanent Delegation of Azerbaijan to UNESCO since April 2023. With a robust background in international relations, Hasanli has held the position of First Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan since May 2018 and has been actively involved with the Modern Youth Network Public Union as Chief Executive and the Azerbaijan Volunteers Public Union as Head of International Relations. Previous roles include General Manager at Queen's Education, Audit and Cost Control at Fairmont Baku, and operations supervisor at the Ministry of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan. Hasanli's early career involved key positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Asian Development Bank. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Diplomacy and International Affairs from ADA University and a Bachelor's degree from Baku State University in International Relations and Economics.
