Dr. Hamad Alawadi

Dr. Hamad Alawadi serves as the Deputy Head of Mission at the UAE Embassy in Sofia, Bulgaria, with extensive experience in international relations and diplomacy since joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in July 2010. Roles have included Counselor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Head of Mission, and Chargé d'affaires in various embassies, including those in Australia, Canada, Serbia, and Tanzania. Dr. Alawadi has also contributed to training and development within the HR department of the Ministry and has served as an Acting UAE Cultural Attaché in Australia and Canada. Educational qualifications comprise a PhD in Political Science and International Relations, multiple master's degrees, and higher diplomas in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
