Yi Zhu

Yi Zhu, FCCA, CICPA, is a Senior Financial Analyst at the Ministry of Health New Zealand since January 2025. Previously, Yi served as a Senior Accountant at Evolution Healthcare and as a Financial Accountant at Totara Learning, where responsibilities included yearly budgeting and quarterly reforecasting. Yi also volunteered as Treasurer for Project Jonah New Zealand, overseeing cash management and payroll processes. Experience includes roles as an Accounts Assistant at Morphum Environmental, Manager of the Risk Control Department at Shanghai Captain Aeest Management Co., Ltd., and Manager in Transaction Services at KPMG Advisory. Prior tenure at KPMG China involved serving large financial institutions in audit roles. Yi holds a Master’s degree in Management from The University of Auckland and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Shanghai University of International Business and Economics, complemented by ongoing professional qualifications from ACCA.
