Krzysztof Kozak

Krzysztof Kozak is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in the fields of biodiversity genomics and biotechnology. Currently serving as an External Expert at both The National Centre for Research and Development and Agencja Badań Medycznych, Krzysztof evaluates funding applications related to science, technology, and clinical research. In addition, Krzysztof holds the position of Research Collaborator at the Smithsonian Institution and previously worked as Entrepreneur in Residence at Scope Fluidics. Notably, Krzysztof's role as Project Scientist in the California Conservation Genomics Project highlights significant contributions to conservation genetics. Krzysztof's career includes a Biodiversity Genomics Fellowship at the Smithsonian Institution, postdoctoral research at the Wellcome Sanger Institute, and a PhD in Zoology from the University of Cambridge, complemented by a Bachelor's degree from Harvard University.

The National Centre for Research and Development

The Centre is an executive agency within the meaning of the Act of 27 August 2009 on Public Finance, operating on the basis of the Act of 30 April 2010 on the National Centre for Research and Development and the statute attached to the regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of 9 September 2010 on the statute of the National Centre for Research and Development. The functioning of the National Centre for Research and Development also regulates a number of executive and legal acts related to the implementation of programmes financed from European financial instruments.
