Ahmed AbuAbah, MD, EMHA, serves as an Advisor to the Minister of Health in Saudi Arabia since February 2019. Previously, Ahmed held the position of CEO at King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz University Hospital from November 2013 to January 2019 and worked as the Healthcare Commissioning Director and Medical Director at Riyadh National Hospital from April 2011 to November 2013. Experience at King Fahad Medical City included roles such as CEO Advisor, Associate Executive Director of Medical Administrations, Executive Assistant Director for Medical Affairs, Head of the Pediatric Pulmonary Section, and Chairman of the Pediatric Medicine Department from November 2003 to March 2011. Ahmed's educational background includes a Master's in Health Administration from Washington University in St. Louis, a Clinical Fellowship in Pediatric Respiratory Medicine from the University of Toronto, and a Diploma in Child Health from The University of Edinburgh, complemented by a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from King Saud University.
