ALI ALRASHEED, MSc, PhD, currently serves as the Assistant General Manager of the General Administration of Nutrition at the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia since January 2019. In this role, ALI is responsible for ensuring compliance with HACCP and ISO 22000 standards across all hospitals and oversees the Food Services Department. Prior to this position, ALI was the Head of the Food Safety Department from 2009 to 2015, where responsibilities included enforcing quality control standards and ensuring the highest level of food safety for patients. Academic credentials include a PhD in Food Science from the University of Nottingham and an MSc in Food Safety, Hygiene, and Management from the University of Birmingham, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science & Nutrition from King Saud University.
