Wael al-Othman

Wael Al-Othman is an experienced professional in community engagement and public relations, currently serving as the General Manager of Community Engagement at the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing since April 2025. Prior to this role, Wael held the position of Partnerships & Development Director at both the Ministry of Culture and the LPTC from June 2021 to April 2025. Wael also served as an Advisor and Director of External Communication at the Ministry of Economy and Planning from July 2019 to May 2021. With a career that began at Saudi Aramco, where Wael worked in various roles from 2008 to 2018, expertise includes corporate social responsibility and volunteerism. Wael has also hosted significant events, such as the Saudi Arabia Renewable Energy Investment Forum and the opening night of the International Public Relations Association Gulf Chapter. Wael holds a Master’s Degree in Corporate Communications and Public Relations from Barry University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals.
