Mahir al-Gassim

Mahir Al-Gassim is a highly experienced professional currently serving as the Vice Minister for Public Service and the Deputy Minister for International Affairs at the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Saudi Arabia since April 2019. In addition, Mahir holds the position of Chairman of the Board at Holoul and serves as a Board Member for the National Competitiveness Center, both since November and October 2019, respectively. Prior to these roles, Mahir accumulated extensive experience at IBM from March 2009 to March 2019, where positions included Territory Country Manager and Territory Sales Leader, and at Microsoft as an Account Manager. Previous roles also include Account Manager at Saudi Business Machines and various engineering positions at Advanced Electronics Company. Mahir's educational background includes advanced leadership training at IMD and INSEAD, along with a BSc (Hons.) in Systems Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals.
