Wael Albassam وائل البسام

Wael Albassam is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in human resources and leadership roles across various sectors. Currently, Wael serves as a member of three steering committees for the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Saudi Arabia and as a senior advisor to the Minister, specializing in HR. Wael is also a board member and chair of the National Risk Committee at SALAMA Cooperative Insurance Co. and the Saudi Paper Group. Previous roles include HR Group Head and VP at Bank Aljazira and VP of HR and Shared Services at a confidential organization, along with significant leadership experience at Zamil Industrial and BAE Systems. Wael holds an MBA from University College of Bahrain, an Executive Training certification from INSEAD, and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Immam Mohammed Bin Saud University, complemented by language studies in French.
