Tomas Juhas

Tomas Juhas is an experienced professional in European affairs, currently serving as the Director of the Department for European Affairs and the Internal Market at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic since September 2016. Previous roles include Deputy Director and Head of the Czech Presidency Coordination Unit for the Council of the EU in 2022. Tomas Juhas has also worked as an EU analyst at the American Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic and interned in the European Parliament and at Carnegie Europe. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in European Studies from Charles University, a Political Science degree from University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, and a PhD in International Area Studies from Charles University.
