David Edwards

David Edwards is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and curriculum development. Currently serving as an English Teacher at the Ministry of Interior in Abu Dhabi since February 2021, David previously worked as an Independent Consultant at Brighter Tiger from 2019 to February 2021. Between August 2008 and July 2017, David served as an Instructor in the Technical Studies Division at a Technical College, focusing on the development of vocational qualifications. Additionally, David has taught English and Personal and Professional Development (PPDV) at Fujairah Men's and Women’s College and Dubai Men's College from 2007 onward. As the Chairman and Founder of the Emirates Natural History Group chapter in Fujairah from 2012 to 2016, David led numerous community field trips. Early in the career, David taught technology to grades 7-8 at the American Community School of Abu Dhabi, where a syllabus focused on real-world problem-solving was developed. David holds a Master’s of Education in TESOL from the University of Southern Queensland and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Toronto.
