Brendan Swale

Brendan Swale has extensive work experience spanning over many years. Brendan began their career in 1997 as the Director of Media Impressions. Brendan then worked at Sponsorship Information Services (SiS) as a Research Consultant and later as a Research Manager. During this time, Brendan developed customized media research for major corporate sponsors. In 2002, they joined Media Monitors as the General Manager of Analysis and later became the General Manager of New Zealand. At Media Monitors, Brendan successfully expanded the company into New Zealand and implemented various growth strategies. Brendan also served as the Group Analysis Director, leading the overhaul and integration of the Analysis Division. In 2012, they joined New Zealand Post as a Strategic Advisor and later became a Strategic Advisor in the Office of the Chief Customer Officer. In 2016, they moved to New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, where they held roles as Customer Insights Manager and Director of Performance. Most recently, Brendan served as the Director of Strategy, Planning, and Performance at the Ministry of Justice in New Zealand.

Brendan Swale's education history includes a BA in Politics from The University of Auckland (1990-1992), a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies with a focus on Public Relations from Massey University (1994), a Post Graduate Diploma in Business and Administration from Massey University (2011), and a Certificate of Excellence in Executive Education from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business (2010-2013).
