Paul Becker

Paul Becker is an experienced IT professional with a career spanning several decades, currently serving as a Product Delivery Lead at the Ministry of Justice in New Zealand since December 2021. Prior to this role, Paul was a Senior IT Consultant at the Dept of Inland Revenue from 2001 to June 2020, specializing in database administration and project leadership with a focus on DMSII Mainframe, COBOL, and various databases including POSTGRES and ORACLE. Paul's extensive contracting experience includes positions at Aoraki Corporation, the Dept of Social Welfare, and UNISYS New Zealand, where expertise in COBOL, WFL, and LINC was developed. Paul began the professional journey as an Analyst Programmer at the Dept of Social Welfare from 1988 to 1995. Education was completed at Saint Patricks College, Silversteam from 1984 to 1987.
