Pondani Daka

Pondani Daka's work experience includes holding the position of Head of Administrative & Management Studies at the Ministry of Local Government (MoLG) since September 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at the Ministry of Local Government & Housing, where they served as a Senior Staff Training Officer from September 2009 to September 2021. During this time, their responsibilities included conducting Training Needs Assessments and designing Capacity Building strategies for Local Governments. Pondani also held the position of Staff Training Officer at the same ministry from an unknown start date to September 2009.

Pondani Daka completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration and Development Studies from the University of Zambia between 2000 and 2005. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Governance and Development at the University of Antwerp from 2009 to 2010. Additionally, Pondani Daka obtained certifications in Bachelor of Art in Public Administration from the University of Zambia and a Master of Arts in Governance and Development from Antwerp University. Pondani is currently a PhD student in Public Sector Management at the University of Western Cape.
