Eyad Alshalan

Eyad AlShalan possesses extensive experience in sports management and social initiatives, currently serving as Vice Commander and General Supervisor of the Vision Realization Office at the Ministry of Sport since 2018. In this role, Eyad focuses on enhancing the sports landscape in the Kingdom through transformative initiatives such as The Saudi Games and Riyadh Marathon. Previously, Eyad held significant positions including General Manager of the Business Excellence Department at the Ministry of Sport, Ambassador Lead for the Women Empowerment Initiative at Alwaleed Philanthropies, and Manager of Operational Support at UNHCR. Additionally, Eyad has a background in international development with UNICEF, contributing to projects that enhance community health and empower vulnerable populations. Educated with an Executive Master’s in Business Administration in Sports Management from Escuela Universitaria Real Madrid and a Bachelor's in Nuclear Medicine from the University of Melbourne, Eyad combines healthcare expertise with a passion for sports and community engagement.
