Pierre McCourt

Pierre McCourt, EMBA, currently serves as the Sports Medicine Excellence Advisor at the Ministry of Sport since March 2024. Previously, Pierre held the position of Director for the National Sports Medicine Programme Qatar at Aspetar from September 2021 to March 2024. With extensive experience in sports medicine, Pierre has also directed performance services at the Canadian Sport Institute Ontario and Aspetar, overseeing large teams and managing programmes for various national sport organizations and athletes. Additional roles include Head of Performance Services at UK Athletics and leadership positions at the UK Sports Institute, Queen's University Belfast, and LifeCare Australia. Pierre's educational background includes an Executive MBA from HEC Paris and a Master's in Sports Physiotherapy from La Trobe University.
