Mirza Mirzayev has a diverse work experience starting in 2010 as Chief Economist at the Administration of State Historical-Architectural Reserve Icherisheher. From there, they worked as a Statistical Analyst at the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan Republic before briefly serving as CEO of MMC. Mirza then transitioned to the Ministry of Education again, this time as the Head of Internal Audit for the Construction and Procurement Department. In 2016, Mirza became a Lecturer in Investment Management at Azerbaijan State University of Economics. Their most recent positions were at the Ministry of Taxes, where they held roles such as State Tax Inspector, Head of division for tax control organization and analysis, and currently, Deputy Head of the Main Tax Audit Department.
Mirza Mirzayev has a strong educational background in finance and economics. Mirza obtained a Master's degree with distinction in Banking and Finance from Queen Mary University of London in 2014. Prior to that, they earned another Master's degree in Government regulation of the economy from The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan between 2012 and 2015.
Mirza Mirzayev also holds a Bachelor's degree in Economic cybernetics from Baku State University, which they completed in 2012. Additionally, they have a Certificate in Business Accounting from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), obtained in November 2011.
