Eyad Hegazy

Eyad Hegazy currently serves as an Associate at The Diwan since September 2024 and has held the position of Youth Diplomat at the Ministry of Youth & Sports of Egypt since July 2022. Previous experience includes a role as Communications Assistant to the Director General at the Cairo International Center for Conflict Resolution, Peacekeeping and Peacebuilding (CCCPA) from April 2023 to January 2024, and an internship focused on preventing radicalization and extremism. Eyad was also Deputy Speaker and Press Board Committee Chairperson in the AUC Student Senate from February 2022 to February 2023, and worked as a Teaching Assistant at the American University in Cairo (AUC) in late 2022. Additional roles include training at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Institute for Diplomatic Studies and serving as General Manager for international students and dorm affairs in the AUC Student Union from July 2020 to July 2022. Eyad completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government and a minor in Global and Public Affairs at AUC, and is currently pursuing a Master of Global Affairs and Master of Public Policy at the same institution.
