Omar El-Habbak is a Doctoral Researcher at CMAC since December 2023 and serves as the West Asia Regional Caucus Coordinator for the Major Group for Children and Youth at the United Nations since September 2023. As a Project Specialist in the Policies Unit at the Ministry of Youth & Sports of Egypt since August 2022, Omar has been instrumental in organizing youth forums and spearheading a Trainee Management System for the Youth Diplomacy Program. Previously, as the Chief Executive Officer of Rafiqi Co. from June 2022 to May 2024, Omar led cross-functional teams in app development and formed partnerships with notable institutions, winning a national pitch competition. At EVA Pharma, Omar managed a clinical AI tool development for degenerative diseases during a Bachelor Thesis project and has also contributed to content creation at Nile University. Omar is pursuing a PhD in Computational Pharmaceutical Product Development at the University of Strathclyde and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Informatics from both Nile University and the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria.
