Vincent Betro

Vincent Betro is an experienced software engineer currently employed at HUB Financial Services since August 2021, following a role as a software developer at Miniter Group, which was sold to HUB. Prior to that, Vincent served as a mathematics teacher at The Baylor School from May 2015 to December 2019, where responsibilities included teaching upper school mathematics and computer science, as well as developing an engineering research program. Vincent's background includes significant experience as a computational scientist at the UT National Institute for Computational Sciences, where contributions included managing training for the XSEDE project and serving as a feedback coordinator. Earlier career roles also include serving as a research assistant professor and STEM outreach coordinator at UTC/SimCenter and teaching various mathematics courses as an adjunct instructor while pursuing a PhD in engineering at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Vincent holds a PhD in Engineering from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, earned between 1998 and 2007, and a diploma from Bartlett High School, obtained in 1998.
