Nelson Joku

Nelson Joku is an experienced geologist specializing in exploration and resource definition, currently serving as a Resource Definition Project Geologist at MINJAR GOLD PTY LTD since March 2020, focusing on the Pajingo gold mine. Previous roles include supervising drilling programs for South32’s manganese operations and serving as Senior Exploration Geologist at various companies, including AlliedGold Limited and Consolidated Minerals. Nelson's expertise encompasses community liaison, site management, and technical execution in both exploration and production geology, with a strong background in underground and regional resource development. Nelson holds a B.Sc (Hons) in Geology from the University of Papua New Guinea.
