Jay Coogan has an extensive work experience in the field of art and design education. Jay served as the President of the Minneapolis College of Art and Design from 2009 onwards. Prior to that, they worked as the Provost at the Rhode Island School of Design from June 2005 to June 2008.
Jay Coogan earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sculpture from Brown University in 1980. Jay then pursued a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Sculpture from Hunter College, which they completed in 1982.
