Maia Hendel-Paterson

Maia Hendel-Paterson has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Maia began their career as a Program Coordinator at the Midwest AIDS Training and Education Center (MATEC) in 2003, where they coordinated HIV/AIDS educational programs for healthcare professionals and served as a liaison between MATEC and Minority Community Training Partners. Maia then joined the Minnesota Department of Public Safety Office of Justice Programs in 2004 as a Training Coordinator. In this role, Maia directed all aspects of an annual conference for over 400 participants, coordinated and presented local and statewide trainings for crime victim advocates, and led a 14-member conference planning committee.
