Michelle has been involved in the field of art education and museum services for several decades. Michelle has experience teaching art to students ranging from K-12 and has also worked as a substitute teacher and freelance frame technician. Michelle's expertise in disciplined based art education methods is evident through their various teaching positions and framing projects Michelle has completed for exhibitions. Michelle has a BA in Studio Art and Art Education from St. Catherine University and has been actively involved in the art community through their work at multiple institutions in Minneapolis.

The Minneapolis Institute of Art (Mia) enriches the community by collecting, preserving, and making accessible outstanding works of art from the world’s diverse cultures.
