Ibrahima Diop

Ibrahima Diop has extensive experience in finance and operations within the education sector, currently serving as Chief of Finance and Operations and Chief Financial Officer at Minneapolis Public Schools since May 2015. Prior to this role, Ibrahima held significant positions at Omaha Public Schools, including Director of Finance, Accounting, Budget, Compensation and Benefits, and Manager of the Accounting & Finance Division from June 2009 to May 2015. Ibrahima's educational background includes a PhD in Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development from the University of Minnesota, a Master’s degree in International Economics from Creighton University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Business Finance and Management from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Additionally, Ibrahima attended University Cheikh Anta Diop in Dakar, Senegal, from 1989 to 1992.
