Brian Cornell is an experienced community pastor currently serving at the Minnesota Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church since July 2019. Previously, Brian has worked as a self-employed reverend since July 2000 and held the position of Executive Director at the Childrens Council of Watauga County, Inc. from September 2010 to July 2011. Brian has also served as a pastor at Christ United Methodist Church from January 2006 to June 2010, leading a multi-staff congregation of over 200. Other pastoral roles include serving at Beaverdam United Methodist Church and as Pastor of Youth and Young Adults at Christ United Methodist Church. Brian holds a Master of Divinity degree in Christian Servanthood for Church Leadership from Duke Divinity School and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Religion from Wake Forest University, along with additional educational experiences at The George Washington University and Dobyns Bennett.
