Jenny Heck

Jenny Heck has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Jenny started their career as a Sales Associate and Bookkeeping at Bachman's Inc. from December 2006 to August 2010. Jenny then worked as a Produce Stocker at Lakewinds Food Co-op from November 2013 to March 2015. Concurrently, they also served as an Assistant Gardener (Horticulturalist II) at the University of Minnesota from June 2013 to November 2015. In December 2015, they joined Mill City Farmers Market as a Communications Manager. Their responsibilities at Mill City Farmers Market included communication and marketing strategies, managing the Next Stage Grant Program, vendor support, event management, fundraising, and programing. Currently, they are working as a Program Administrator at the Minnesota Department of Agriculture starting in September 2022.

Jenny Heck completed their education at the University of Minnesota from 2010 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Horticultural Sciences. Prior to attending the University of Minnesota, they studied Journalism at Columbia College Chicago from 2009 to 2010, although they did not receive a degree in that field.
