Currently serving as Assistant Commissioner for the Health Systems Bureau at the Minnesota Department of Health, Carol has previously held significant positions, including Vice President at Aurrera Health Group and Director of Intergovernmental and External Affairs at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. With experience as Program Director for the National Governors Association and as State Medicaid Director for the Minnesota Department of Human Services, Carol has consistently provided strategic direction and leadership in healthcare transformation, Medicaid administration, and stakeholder collaboration. Carol's educational credentials include a Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Lawrence University.
