Heidi Jonson, MPH, currently serves as the Data Exchange Hub Product Manager at the Minnesota Department of Health, leading a multidisciplinary team in a major Health Information Exchange project. With extensive experience as a Senior Syndromic Surveillance Epidemiologist, Heidi expedited the onboarding of 137 hospitals to the Syndromic Surveillance database amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Additional roles include MCH Epidemiology Contractor for the Hawaii State Department of Health, Project Manager at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health, and Healthcare Analyst at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota. Heidi has a Master of Public Health in Nutritional Epidemiology and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Science, underpinned by diverse experience in maternal and child health, health analytics, and program evaluation across multiple health organizations and research initiatives.
