Karen Soderberg

Supervisor, E-health And Health Information Exchange at Minnesota Department of Health

Karen Soderberg has extensive experience in health informatics and health policy, currently serving as Supervisor for e-Health and Health Information Exchange at the Minnesota Department of Health since July 2019. In this role, Karen oversees the vision, direction, and operations of statewide e-health programs, while also acting as a technical and policy expert in multiple areas. Previously, Karen held positions such as Acting Assistant Director of the Health Policy Division and Research Scientist in Health Informatics at the Minnesota Department of Health. Additionally, Karen owns the Bryn Mawr Soap Company and has held research roles at the University of Minnesota and Barlow Research Associates. Karen holds an MS in Health Services Research from the University of Minnesota and a BA in History from St. Olaf College.
