Currently serving as the Disability COVID Community Coordinator Lead at the Minnesota Department of Health since February 2022, Rachel previously worked as a Grants Manager at ServeMinnesota from February 2015 to February 2022, where responsibilities included managing a $1-$3 million fundraising initiative and developing grant strategies. Rachel's background also includes roles as a Development Officer at Perkins School for the Blind, a Public Affairs Specialist with the US Navy, and various consultancy and research positions focusing on disability rights and inclusive development. With a Master of Public Policy and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Rachel has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing social equity and improving community outcomes for individuals with disabilities.
