Timothy (Tim) Jenkins is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public health informatics and data systems, currently serving as the Data Systems and Interoperability Supervisor at the Minnesota Department of Health since June 2018. In this role, Jenkins provides leadership for data strategies and interoperability while supervising an informatics team. Prior roles include significant contributions to the COVID-19 response, evaluation coordination for health care delivery reform, and various positions focused on environmental health and food safety at both state and city levels. Jenkins holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Minnesota and a BS in Humanities from Minnesota State University, Mankato, along with a fellowship from the CDC Environmental Public Health Leadership Institute.
