Alfred Haugen

Alfred Haugen is an experienced professional in the fields of transportation contract administration and geographic information systems (GIS). Currently serving as a Contract Administrator at the Minnesota Department of Transportation since August 2018, Alfred has successfully managed numerous highway maintenance contracts, totaling over $2.1 million across two fiscal years. Previous roles include GIS Specialist for Wright County, Right of Way Asset Specialist for the State of South Dakota, and Planner for the Central South Dakota Enhancement District, where Alfred developed significant GIS features and databases. Alfred holds a Master of Arts in Urban Planning from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and a Bachelor of Arts in Community Development from St. Cloud State University.
