Mohamad Fawaz

Mohamad Fawaz, P.E. is a seasoned civil engineer with diverse experience in construction project administration and structural engineering. Currently serving as a Construction Project Engineer at the Minnesota Department of Transportation since July 2018, Mohamad engages in construction and contract administration, following a role as Assistant Area Bridge Engineer focusing on bridge inspections and scoping. Prior to this, tenure at IDOM Consulting involved structural analysis and design of Overhead Material Handling Systems and concrete foundations. Earlier experience includes overseeing utilities diversion work at the Ar-Riyadh Metro Project with Nesma & Partners and conducting structural analysis for transportation infrastructure at Associated Consulting Engineers. Mohamad began the career as a Trainee Civil Site Engineer at the New Doha International Airport project after earning a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
