Trista Schwind

Trista Schwind, CPPM, serves as the Wellstone Academy Director for the Minnesota DFL Party, where responsibilities include developing and conducting a comprehensive 32-week campaign training curriculum aimed at preparing new and future campaign staff. Previous roles within the Minnesota DFL Party include Deputy Executive Director and Redistricting Director, focusing on departmental leadership and advocacy against gerrymandering. Trista also established the Red to Blue program, which supported over 200 legislative campaigns. Earlier career experiences encompass roles such as Field Director for the House DFL Caucus and Campaign Manager for Robert Lilligren, along with community organizing for OutFront Minnesota. Trista's career began with administrative responsibilities at the Rape and Abuse Crisis Center, complementing a strong educational background from the University of St. Thomas and Minnesota State University Moorhead.
